Expert Staging
Put simply, staging means preparing the home for a potential buyer — or “setting the stage,” if you will. It involves redecorating, decluttering, rearranging furniture, cleaning and other aesthetic strategies to present the home in the best possible light.
Home staging led to increased offers between 1% and 5% compared to similar homes that weren’t staged. Staging can get your home SOLD faster, too. According to HomeAdvisor, homes that have been staged spend between 33% and 50% less time on the market.
Staging will also remove the personal feel of your home and present it in such a way that buyers will better be able to imagine their lives in it. In theory, this helps create a good first impression with buyers and improves your home’s appeal, which should mean more interested buyers and a higher selling price.
I am a certified stager and will be happy to guide you along the process, step by step, and even go as far as recommending a contractor to help you get the best results possible, only if absolutely necessary though as I prefer to keep things simple. I can also provide some furniture and props when needed.
